Angel Oven Records

Angel Oven is a partnership of the shared visions of Wendy Bagnall and Michael Dimas, who founded the company in 2007 in a small suburb of Orange County in Southern California. Angel Oven is designed and inspired by Exhortationism: (Latin: exhortari to encourage; hortari to urge) a system of philosophy based upon the premise that encouragement and incitement of others results in a rational striving of the persons purpose and individual potential.

Angel Oven, created first as a media company with a primary focus in music, film and publishing, also has two non-profit organizations in development, Relating For Life^© (education) and The Map Foundation^© (theater arts).

The name Angel Oven was created to properly frame its core mission of support for the unalterable self; the heart of all artistic endeavor. This is the reason Angel Oven exists. We embrace aliveness and enlightenment as part of our organizational culture, facilitating and promoting the achievement of greater consciousness. As with so many partnerships of all kinds, ours was born of a non-coincidence outside of time and space. The self, calling from within, a little sleepy, but now fully awake. Welcome to Angel Oven.

As the recording industry is being filtered through yet another more digitally based medium, we utilize our passion to foster creative purity and provide unique encouragement and support for each individual artist. To safely and confidently realize their fullest potential, we continually dare ourselves to find ways of connecting our artists to a worldwide audience.

We believe in the importance of an artistic climate that serves as a guide, shaping the standards of a culture. The importance of art to our lives must be recognized and valued as irreplaceable and held to the standard of a life we wish to live.

Music is one such source of transcendence and through it we find adventures in life that could not exist without it. In this regard, Angel Oven Records is more than a record label; it is an idea, a purpose that lives in and of itself.
